Why do you need one?
This is a true story, and therefore I have tell you why it’s important that we decided to Launch this service ASAP. I have been super excited about launching a free service for a while. We thought about launching a free Real Estate IDX for the last 5-6months,there already are a few free real estate website providers. We wanted to help real estate agents compete with big tech companies. Most real estate agents have a website, want a custom site, or want to beautify a site. a few of them also are having a hard time with the new down turn in real estate, and I believe the competition from low commission services isn’t helping them either. We also noticed a lot of them starting to blog on national website, and we figured that a lot of them would like to Own their own Brand, doesn’t that make sense. To blog on a site, that you own, and you brand with your picture, your logo, your look and feel? The answer to these questions was yes, and that is why we launched MyTypes.
What’s a BLOG ?
I swear to God, this is the Question my wife just asked me on our walk on 4/14/2007. I have been telling people to blog for their real estate business since 2003-2004. There are some top real estate bloggers, who may not give me the credit, but I did point them in to the direction back in 2003-2004. What’s shocking to me, but not really, is that most real estate agents don’t have blogs. Why? Because, most Blogging systems are not user friendly, and they are not real estate agent friendly, and most don’t have the beauty and design that home sellers require to sell.
Oh Yeah, why don’t most successful real estate agents don’t blog? They are too busy, selling real estate. But, I think that most real estate agents recognize their website have to have local content, information and up to the minute news, not just in text, but in Photo’s, Videos, Etc.
This my friends is why we decided to launch an easy Blog that real estate agents can Brand themselves on. Remember, if you have a picture on your card, you probably want it on your website. So go ahead, don’t stop there, upload your video now, now you can and it’s all free!
MyTypes is launching this free real estate blog and marketing website, totally branded by you. You can pick from many themes, and or your techie friends can customize it. And, if you want to point your website to it, you can, and for a small $ amount pick your name and we will even do it for you. You can choose from many Themes, some we have customized, and many more we will for you. In the future, we will provide real estate related content such as pictures and news for you to use royalty free. But for now, go blog to add Fresh Content to your blog.
Why is this free? And, how will we make money to keep it free for you in the future. MyTypes.com has always intended to be free, we were planning to create a social network back in early 2006. We were going to fund it through our other services, such as real estate IDX and custom website and Search Engine Optimization services for real estate agents. We also were going to offer advertising for real estate agents to promote them on a Zip Code basis. Our promise to you is this “We will do everything in our power to never offer advertising that will get in the way of the user experience, and we will try our hardest to never offer advertising on the top and left side of your website”. If you want to promote your business, especially your real estate business, this is the place for it.
